Hunter Biden: Ex-President Joe Biden's Cancer Has Spread, 'Very Painful'
Hunter Biden reveals former President Joe Biden's prostate cancer has metastasized to his bones, calling it "very painful" and "debilitating." A challenging health battle for the Biden family.
Former President Joe Biden’s battle with prostate cancer has taken a serious turn, with his son Hunter Biden revealing that the disease has spread to his bones. In a recent interview, Hunter Biden described his father’s condition as “very painful” and “very debilitating in many respects.” Despite this, he emphasized his father’s unwavering dedication, stating, “He’s still out there. He’s still doing his thing. He so believes in this country.”
This somber update comes after the former First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, spoke earlier this month about the president’s “challenging” prostate cancer diagnosis, which was first announced last May. She highlighted the ongoing nature of managing the illness, noting the need for “every three months, testing and medicines.” Dr. Biden, who has experienced the toll of cancer personally with other family members, including the loss of her eldest son Beau to glioblastoma in 2015, acknowledged the constant and daily challenges faced by those on a cancer journey.
Hunter Biden shared the emotional impact on the family, saying, “It’s really, really hard and it’s really sad to watch.” This disclosure contrasts with a statement made by the former president himself last month, where he indicated that his treatment had been progressing positively. At that time, he said, “I’ve been spending a lot of time with my family… I’m dealing with a cancer diagnosis, been getting treatment, and it’s going really well. I want to thank all those who have offered their prayers and support and well-wishes. It’s meant the world to me and to Jill.”
The former Democrat president was diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer last May and has since been undergoing radiation and hormone therapy. Concerns about Joe Biden’s health and mental fitness have been a recurring topic, especially during the latter part of his second term.
