James Bond fans, get ready! Daniel Craig's iconic Skyfall suit, Ana de Armas's dress, and rare 007 memorabilia are hitting the auction block. Don't miss out on cinematic history!
James Bond enthusiasts and collectors worldwide, prepare to bid! A highly anticipated auction is currently underway, offering a treasure trove of memorabilia from the iconic 007 franchise, led by none other than Daniel Craig's impeccably tailored suit from the smash-hit 2012 film "Skyfall". This custom-made grey Tom Ford suit, complete with a matching branded shirt, tie, and cufflinks, is expected to fetch a staggering £20,000 to £40,000.
It's the very outfit Craig wore during the film's thrilling opening sequence, chasing a villain across Istanbul's rooftops and onto a moving train.
The ongoing Propstore auction, featuring a remarkable collection of 400 lots, spans every film in the legendary franchise. From the silver screen debut of Sean Connery in 1962 to Daniel Craig's final bow in 2021, Bond has captivated generations, and this sale offers a chance to own a piece of that rich history.
But Craig's suit isn't the only showstopper.
Fans will also be thrilled to see another significant costume on the block: the dazzling navy dress with a plunging neckline and heeled sandals worn by Hollywood star Ana de Armas as secret agent Paloma in "No Time To Die". This stunning ensemble is also estimated to bring in between £20,000 and £40,000.
Beyond the costumes, the auction delves deeper into Bond lore. Collectors can vie for a complete set of 14 first edition and first impression James Bond books penned by Ian Fleming, bringing together all 12 novels and two short story collections. Each volume has been beautifully rebound in leather, with designs based on the original cover artwork, and the entire collection is valued between £20,000 and £40,000.
For early cinematic history buffs, a British quad poster for the very first Bond film, "Dr. No," featuring Mitchell Hooks' artwork of Sean Connery, is also up for grabs, with an estimate of £8,000 to £16,000. Even niche items like an SFX model unit of a clapperboard from Roger Moore's 1983 film "Octopussy" are part of the sale, projected to sell for £4,000 to £8,000.
Alastair McCrea, director of consignments at Propstore, expressed his excitement, stating,
Bond has meant something to generations of film fans, and I've loved curating this collection. Reviewing and appraising the costumes, posters, books and production pieces has been a wonderful reminder of how much there is to discover across the films.
The online-only auction is open to collectors worldwide and continues until October 27.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to secure a piece of James Bond's enduring legacy!
