Denmark Warns: Russia Could Attack NATO Neighbor Soon! ⚠️
Danish intelligence issues stark warning: Russia poses a "growing risk" of limited attacks on NATO. Is hybrid warfare intensifying? Get the crucial details!
Copenhagen has become the epicenter of a chilling new warning for NATO allies. Danish intelligence services, in a report released on Thursday, have cautioned that Russia could launch a limited military attack against a NATO country in the coming months.
This marks one of the most direct and stark warnings yet from Western security services.
The Danish defence intelligence service report highlights a "low but growing risk" of Russia targeting NATO infrastructure that supports Ukraine with long-range strikes. Furthermore, they warn of potential limited incursions into neighboring countries, possibly involving small numbers of troops operating without clear insignia.
This alarming report comes just hours after a significant incident in central Poland: a fire at a Starlink satellite station that local authorities have labeled an "act of sabotage." Krzysztof Gawkowski, Poland's Deputy Prime Minister, stated that the blaze, which occurred overnight in the Masovian voivodeship, appeared "deliberately designed to disable the station." This incident temporarily disrupted internet access for several institutions, including the Ukrainian military.
While Polish officials haven't definitively named those responsible, Gawkowski noted that "many signs suggest this aligns with Russia's new doctrine of attack." He added that such incidents are an element of hybrid warfare, a sentiment echoed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Starlink has proven crucial for Ukraine's military communications, and this incident fits a pattern of suspected Russian sabotage operations targeting European infrastructure supporting Ukraine.
Earlier this month, Germany publicly blamed Russia for an attempted drone attack on Leipzig/Halle airport. Investigations are also underway into other incidents, including fires at drone factories and sabotage targeting rail infrastructure, for potential links to Moscow. Russia has consistently denied any involvement in these attacks.
Several European intelligence chiefs have recently warned of Russia's potential for more assertive actions to test NATO's commitment to Ukraine. The Danes specifically predict an intensification of Russia's hybrid attacks against European countries in the coming months, with "greater consequences." These could include
destructive cyber-attacks that cripple societal functions as well as sabotage attacks that carry a high risk of casualties.
A source close to Moscow's thinking indicated that Russia's military command believes certain NATO countries are "directly involved" in the war against Russia, not just through weapons supply, but by aiding missile and drone guidance.
This perception leads them to believe NATO is already waging a hybrid war against Russia, justifying Russia's right to respond "in kind." Hybrid attacks encompass non-military tactics like cyber-attacks, sabotage, and disinformation, aiming to divert European resources from Ukraine and deepen divisions.
