Role Overview:

We're looking for a chronically online, highly creative Gen-Z Trend & Culture Editor / Meme Content Strategist to track digital subcultures, internet micro-trends, and viral conversations. You’ll translate internet culture into thought-provoking posts, daily prompt ideas, and engaging short-form content that inspires creators to write and share on Thoxt.

This is a culture, trend-spotting, and meme strategy internship in India (remote work from home) tailored for freshers, media studies students, design students, English or journalism students, marketing enthusiasts, and anyone deeply plugged into internet pop culture.

What You'll Do:

1. Monitor daily internet trends, memes, and cultural shifts across TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, and Reddit.
2. Translate viral conversations into daily writing prompts, thought-starters, or short essays to kickstart community engagement on Thoxt.
3. Craft sharp, witty, and culturally relevant content that resonates with a younger digital audience.
4. Brainstorm and execute creative angles to bring internet discourse onto a structured publishing platform.
5. Engage with the Thoxt community, seed trend discussions, and collaborate with early creators.

What We're Looking For:

1. Deep familiarity with internet culture, meme literacy, and Gen-Z communication styles.
2. Strong writing and communication skills with a distinct, engaging online voice.
3. Ability to quickly adapt fast-moving internet trends into smart content concepts.
4. A self-starter who lives online and understands why certain topics go viral.
5. Bonus: Experience running a meme page, creating viral short-form video content, or managing a digital community.
