Maharashtra TET Scam: Papers Hidden in Shoes, ₹8k Paid for Leaks!

A massive scam involving the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) has come to light, revealing how question papers were illicitly obtained and sold to candidates. The investigation has uncovered shocking details, including the method used by employees to smuggle the papers: by hiding them in their shoes. According to reports, individuals involved in the scheme allegedly paid ₹8,000 for each question paper.

This illicit trade compromised the integrity of a crucial examination meant to qualify teachers, impacting countless aspiring educators across the state. The chargesheet filed in the case names a total of 18 accused individuals.

Among them is the alleged mastermind, Bijendra Gupta, who has a history of involvement in similar examination scams.

It has been revealed that Gupta was previously implicated in a paper leak incident in Odisha, raising concerns about a potential organized network behind such malpractices. Authorities are continuing their investigation to fully unravel the extent of the scam and bring all perpetrators to justice.
