Bam Margera, the well-known stunt performer, has made it crystal clear: a Jackass reunion is not happening. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Margera stated, "as far as a reunion, it’s not going to happen, not in 10 million years," emphasizing his refusal to reunite with the team.
Margera’s strong stance stems from his tumultuous departure from Jackass Forever in 2022. He was fired during production after allegedly failing drug and alcohol tests, leading to a lawsuit against Paramount, Johnny Knoxville, and director Jeff Tremaine, which was eventually settled out of court.
Despite his firm position against a reunion, Margera expressed interest in watching the newly released Jackass: Best And Last, which features him through archive footage. However, he confirmed he did not film any new scenes for the movie. While he holds no "bad blood" with the rest of the Jackass cast, his issues are pointed directly at Knoxville and Tremaine. "I never want to see them ever again in my life," he said. "Enough is enough."
Reflecting on his dismissal from Jackass Forever, Margera claimed he was subjected to "inhumane" and "discriminatory" treatment concerning his wellness agreement, suggesting producers had been "setting me up to fail." He also revealed his significant frustration over not receiving the $5 million payment he expected for the film, stating he was "very fking angry" about it.
Johnny Knoxville previously offered his perspective on the situation, telling GQ that the Jackass group had "drawn a hard line" with Margera in what they believed was an effort to help him. Knoxville added, "As long as he’s thriving and he’s healthy, that’s all I care about. Selfishly, I would love him to be in my life again. But that’s on his own time." Despite Knoxville's sentiments, Margera's latest comments indicate a definitive closure to any possibility of reconciling with certain members of the Jackass crew.
