The court recently ruled on Mississippi's law regarding mail-in ballots, allowing those postmarked before Election Day to count even if received later. Trump, who has long campaigned against mail-in voting since the 2020 election, claimed the decision "gives people more time to vote illegally." He has consistently asserted, without evidence, that postal balloting is a significant source of election fraud.

He further referenced a 2005 report by the Carter-Baker Commission on Federal Election Reform, inaccurately portraying its warning about "potential voter fraud" as a definitive statement of widespread "cheating." Trump continues to accuse Democrats of undermining election security, a central theme in his political rhetoric.
