JEE Main 2026: Dates Revised, City Slip Released
NTA revises Session 1 dates to Jan 21–29 and releases the city intimation slip online; admit cards expected in mid-January.
The National Testing Agency has revised the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 schedule, shifting the exam window to January 21–29. Alongside the new dates, the exam city intimation slip is now live on the official site to help candidates plan their travel and stay. Admit cards are expected in the second week of January, and Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted in multiple shifts across these days.
Candidates who qualify JEE Main will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced, underscoring how important this year’s exam is for many aspiring engineers.
The city intimation slip, released by the NTA, tells students the exam city in advance. It is not the admit card and does not include seat numbers or center details. This slip is intended to help test-takers arrange travel and accommodation ahead of time.
What candidates should do now is regularly check the official NTA site, download their city slip, and note the revised dates.
