Sunrisers Hyderabad handed the ball to Praful Hinge, a 24-year-old fast bowler from Vidarbha, for IPL 2026. In his first over, Hinge produced a stunning spell that changed the complexion of the game against Rajasthan Royals. He dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel, and Lhuan-dre Pretorius — all for ducks — becoming the first bowler in IPL history to take three wickets in the opening over of an innings. Hinge’s early breakthrough also earned him a place in an elite list of powerplay wicket-takers, with figures of 4/18.
