The 20-year-old clocked 22.32 seconds, narrowly holding off Nigeria's Favour Ofili in a thrilling photo-finish. The race was won by American sprinter Kayla White, who powered to victory in 22.18 seconds. Hunt, who has had an incredibly demanding schedule, admitted to feeling the strain, stating she was "tired before the race and my pre-competition felt pretty stiff." In the triple jump, despite a recent extraordinary gold at the Euros with an 18.15m leap, Italy’s Andy Díaz Hernández had to settle for third place in Lausanne.
