This movie has got all the cool gangster stuff you would expect from an excellent movie. Some of the key elements to describe this movie are guns, mafia, loan sharks, drugs, mystery strategy, one cannot refuse offers... etc. get the picture.
Jason Statham is once again in an acting role.. flaunting his British accent and narrating the movie. He's in a mysterious situation where he's being played like a chess pawn by two individuals and is made to do things against his will, which he hates.. This a movie which is more about a Jason's thoughts than the plot itself.
The movie has all the right pieces which could have been transformed into a masterpiece but somewhere the artist has goofed up and replaced the butt with the head in the Greek sculpture that he was creating. The movie no doubt is a very good entertainer but falls way short of being a classic.
