Pradhan Blasts Rahul Gandhi: "Misleading Youth" on NEET Row!

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has strongly accused Congress MP Rahul Gandhi of misleading the youth, particularly NEET aspirants, and creating unnecessary fear in their minds regarding the ongoing NEET UG controversy. This comes amid widespread debate and opposition calls for Pradhan's resignation over alleged paper leaks.

Pradhan emphasized that while he doesn't wish to politicize an issue concerning students' futures, he found the opposition's decision to hold a rally in Kota just days before the examination "not appropriate." He urged political leaders not to "mislead and put fear in the minds of the new generation," stressing a collective responsibility towards them.

The minister also brought up an incident in Bengaluru where, according to him, three students were unable to reach their NEET examination centers due to a rally organized by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Pradhan stated that Kharge later apologized for the inconvenience, questioning how the Congress could then "lecture us on this issue."

Further escalating the political rhetoric, Pradhan labeled an online movement, the "Cockroach Janta Party," as "Rahul Gandhi's B-team." Earlier in the week, Pradhan had also addressed the NEET paper leak directly, acknowledging that some of the teachers entrusted with responsibilities by the National Testing Agency (NTA) had failed in their duties, remarking, "Rakshak hi bhakshak ban gaye" (the protectors themselves turned predators).

This entire situation underscores the growing tension between the government and the opposition over the integrity of national examinations and the future of countless students. The accusations highlight a deep political divide, with both sides trading barbs while the fate of thousands of NEET aspirants hangs in the balance.
