Josh Kerr has truly capped off an incredible year, dominating the 1500m race at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest. The Scottish athlete not only claimed the title but also a staggering 150,000 US Dollars, adding a significant victory to his already impressive collection which includes the world indoor 3000m and Commonwealth mile titles.

He blazed across the finish line in three minutes, 29.35 seconds, holding off Australian runner-up Cameron Myers.

Despite his recent success, Kerr remains grounded. He revealed that his sights are firmly set on breaking the 1500m world record, a goal he's been discussing with his sponsors since 2018.
