Jasprit Bumrah marks his 50th Test appearance, becoming the first Indian fast bowler to reach 50 Tests across formats. India dominates West Indies, with Jaiswal 173 and Sudharsan 87.
After playing in his 50th Test match for the Indian team, Jasprit Bumrah, the country's top pacer, made history. After being named in the playing XI for India's second Test match against the West Indies, Bumrah instantly became the first fast bowler from India to appear in 50 games in all formats. After a tense, drawn Test series in England, the Indian team, captained by Shubman Gill, is currently enjoying a successful run in their home series against the West Indies.
After a decisive victory in the first Test in Ahmedabad, the team continued to play dominantly on Day 1 of the second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Sai Sudharsan's solid 87 helped support Yashasvi Jaiswal's amazing and undefeated 173 in the lead.
Bumrah made his 50th appearance in the format and set a new record by playing in the second Test match during the team's dominant performance.
