The 21-year-old influencer, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., was reportedly wearing a Cape Verde kit when he became involved in a confrontation with an Argentina fan in the stands. Footage of the alleged incident, which has circulated online, shows IShowSpeed in the midst of the exchange. FIFA stated it was made aware of the incident and "immediately initiated an investigation" into the matter.
IShowSpeed is a prominent online personality, boasting a massive following of 57 million subscribers on YouTube and 53 million followers on TikTok.
