BBC's Strictly Come Dancing confirms returning pros and welcomes fresh faces for Autumn 2026, after a mid-season cast cull saw five stars depart.
Strictly Come Dancing has announced its returning professional lineup ahead of the autumn 2026 series, with fans set for a mix of familiar faces and fresh talent. After a cast cull earlier this year that saw Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Gorka Marquez and Michelle Tsiakkas depart, the BBC confirmed who will be back on our screens in Autumn 2026.
Returning pros include long-time favourites Dianne Buswell, Amy Dowden, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Johannes Radebe and Aljaž Škorjanec. They will be joined by newcomers Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystał, Lauren Oakley, Vito Coppola and Carlos Gu, with last year’s newbies Julian Caillon and Alexis Warr also confirmed to return.
The show will also welcome new professional dancers, with the exact names to be announced closer to the 24th series’ autumn premiere. On the judging panel, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are set to oversee performances once again.
Discussing hosts, the BBC noted that the new hosts will be announced in due course, with reports recently flagging Angela Scanlon as a frontrunner among bosses during auditions, though nothing has been confirmed yet. Fans are eagerly awaiting the official line-up and host reveal ahead of the 2026 launch.
