The nuptials, which reportedly took place at the stunning Castillo del Lago beneath the iconic Hollywood sign, come just weeks after news of his ex Taylor Swift's high-profile wedding. While Swift's ceremony captivated New York, Healy, 37, and Bechtel, 28, celebrated their union in a more intimate, yet equally star-studded, affair.
Among the notable guests celebrating with the newlyweds were pop sensation Charli XCX, who is married to The 1975's drummer George Daniel, and acclaimed actor and model Emily Ratajkowski. Healy proposed to the gothic fashionista Bechtel with a unique black diamond ring in June 2024. The engagement itself was confirmed by Healy’s mother, Denise Welch, during an appearance on the ITV talk show “Loose Women.” Welch revealed that while the Instagram announcement came later, she had been aware of her son's engagement for a few weeks. “They went over to see their friends, Charli and George, in New York and I woke up this morning to the fact they’ve put it on Instagram,” she shared. Welch also noted the custom design of the ring, stating, “Black diamond; he had it made for her.”
