The 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill, which proposed the automatic removal from public office of any individual jailed for 30 days (including the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers), is still in the final stages of deliberation by a Joint Parliamentary Committee. Similarly, the 131st Constitutional Amendment Bill, aimed at delimitation of Lok Sabha seats to facilitate women's reservation, which was defeated in the previous session, is not listed for this session, though reports of a revised version are circulating without formal confirmation.
