Man Charged with Murder of GP Hannah Cain in Dersingham
A man has been charged with the murder of beloved GP Dr. Hannah Cain, found dead at her home in Dersingham. Police are investigating this tragic incident.
Police have announced that a 45-year-old man, Mark Cain of Fern Hill, Dersingham, has been charged with the murder of Dr. Hannah Cain. Dr. Cain, also 45, was found dead at her home near the Sandringham Estate in the early hours of Sunday, October 4th.
Mark Cain was arrested following the discovery and has been remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 7th.
Dr. Hannah Cain, known professionally as Dr.
Hannah Terry, was a respected member of the community.
She worked as a GP at Grimston Medical Centre and also ran her own cosmetics business, Norfolk Sky Aesthetics.
Described as a "caring and professional doctor," she had been a qualified physician for over 15 years, with eight years as a general practitioner.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), through Michael Devaney, confirmed the decision to prosecute Mark Cain following a police investigation. "Our thoughts remain with the family of Hannah Cain at this time," Devaney stated.
