Over 200 members of the nutritious meal and Anganwadi workers associations staged a protest in Dindigul on Tuesday, urging the government to fulfil their charter of demands. They argued that vacancies across various posts should be filled, a monthly pension should be provided, and promotions should come in a timely manner. They also announced that they would boycott their duties as part of the protest.
