Inquest Opens: Mystery Surrounds Death of Ex-Cambridge Professor Jason Arday

An inquest has officially begun into the death of Jason Arday, the former University of Cambridge professor whose unexpected passing occurred amidst a swirling plagiarism controversy. Professor Arday, who resigned from his esteemed position just days before his death, was found unresponsive at his home in Battersea, London, on August 14. His death at 41 has sent shockwaves through academic circles and beyond.

Senior coroner Dr Julian Morris, presiding over the London Inner South Coroner's Court, stated on Wednesday that there is "reason to suspect that Professor Arday died an unnatural death."
