Rosalía & Calvin Klein Bring Back Euphoria Fragrance with Epic 2000s Party

Calvin Klein and Grammy-winner Rosalía recently ignited New York City with a star-studded celebration for the relaunch of the iconic Euphoria fragrance. The event, held at People’s in Greenwich Village immediately following the Calvin Klein Collection runway show, marked a new chapter for the beloved scent, now reimagined with a more intense and potent concentration.

The party itself was a deliberate throwback to the mid-2000s, a nod to Euphoria's original heyday. Guests were encouraged to disconnect, resulting in a rare, phone-free atmosphere. Camcorders captured the moments as DJs Kitty Ca$h and Huneycut spun hip-hop remixes, keeping the dance floor alive.

Lychee-infused jell-o shots were a hit, disappearing as quickly as they appeared, adding to the playful, nostalgic vibe.

Attendees embraced the theme, sporting vests, midriff-baring tanks, and dark-wash denim reminiscent of the fragrance's original ad campaigns.

Rosalía, the new face of Euphoria, shared her personal connection to the scent, noting it reminds her of powerful moments like singing on stage or driving her car. She also discussed her evolving approach to fragrance. While she once used to spray abundantly as a teenager "trying too hard to be remembered," she now prefers a more intimate application: "My perfume is only for whoever gets to be really close to me," she shared with a smile.

The revamped Euphoria maintains its signature character but with a modern twist.

Master perfumer Carlos Benaïm, who co-created the 2005 original, returned to lead this evolution.

The new elixir boasts a richer, more enveloping 28% concentration, ensuring it's "unmistakably Euphoria, but reinterpreted for today," according to Javier Zotes Ciancas, Global SVP at Calvin Klein Fragrances.

Adding another layer of interest, Rosalía also made an appearance in the third season of HBO's Euphoria, playing Magick, a dancer. She drew a parallel between acting and perfecting one's personal scent, describing both as an art of pursuit that requires practice, much like a muscle that needs to be worked out.

This relaunch event successfully merged fashion, music, and nostalgia, celebrating the enduring allure of Calvin Klein's Euphoria for a new generation.
