IPO Week in India: ICICI Pru AMC, Wakefit Lead Rs 13,000 crore Pipeline
India's primary market gears up for a bustling week with 11 IPOs totaling about Rs 13,807 crore, including ICICI Prudential AMC and Wakefit, amid robust liquidity and cautious investor sentiment.
India's primary market is bracing for one of its busiest weeks of the year, with 11 IPOs set to open for subscription across the mainboard and SME segments from December 8 to 17, collectively aiming to raise about Rs 13,807 crore.
The week kicks off on December 8 with Corona Remedies and Wakefit Innovations opening their books on the same day. Corona Remedies is offering a Rs 655 crore sale at a price band of Rs 1,008–1,062 per share, backed by a wide portfolio across women’s health, cardio-diabetes and pain management. Wakefit, the online-first mattress and home products brand, is targeting a Rs 1,289 crore IPO priced at Rs 185–195 per share. Anchor bidding is expected to attract strong attention for Corona Remedies given its profitability and expansive distribution network.
Meesho’s Rs 5,421 crore IPO has already demonstrated blockbuster demand, with an overall subscription of 81.76x and strong retail participation, keeping market eyes glued to listing around December 10.
Wakefit has also drawn anchor investments totaling Rs 580 crore from HSBC, HDFC Mutual Fund and other domestic funds, bolstering confidence ahead of its listing.
On December 10, three more issues—Nephrocare Health Services, Park Medi World and Unisem Agritech—will launch their three-day runs. Nephrocare, backed by ICICI Securities, is targeting Rs 871 crore at a price band of Rs 438–460 per share, as the dialysis services operator positions itself to meet rising chronic kidney care demand. Park Medi World seeks about Rs 920 crore, while Unisem Agritech joins the crowded week with its own listing plan.
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company’s (ICICI Pru AMC) IPO is slated to open around December 12, with OFS details and shareholder quota to be announced soon. This would mark the fourth entity from the ICICI stable to trade on the bourses, following ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and ICICI Lombard.
Taken together, the pipeline reflects strong domestic liquidity but cautious foreign investor sentiment, underscoring the need for solid fundamentals and sensible pricing as investors navigate the year’s most active IPO calendar. Meesho’s robust subscription and high GMP have kept the market attentive to listing-day performance for consumer platforms with high growth trajectories.
