Patna, India – Renowned educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has received another extension of his protection from arrest in connection with a high-profile coaching institute firing case. A Patna court on Saturday prolonged the stay on his arrest until June 30, deferring the next hearing to Tuesday for arguments.
The case stems from a dramatic incident that occurred in early June when Khan Sir's coaching institute was allegedly vandalized by a group of miscreants. Following this, his security guards are accused of opening fire. Khan Sir himself was named in the First Information Report (FIR) related to the incident, prompting the court to grant him initial protection from arrest on June 9.
During the latest court proceedings, the investigating officer submitted an updated case diary. Khan Sir's lawyer, Arvind Kumar Mouar, informed reporters that the "no coercive action" order against Khan Sir would remain in force until the next hearing. Mouar indicated that the final arguments are expected to take place on Tuesday, June 30, and confirmed that Khan Sir is fully cooperating with the police and investigating officers.
The case involving Khan Sir's security guards, which is directly linked to the same incident, has also been scheduled for a hearing on the same day. This ongoing legal development continues to draw significant public attention, particularly given Khan Sir's prominent status as an educator.
