In a move set to energize the UK TV calendar, Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed have been named as the first hosts for the UK edition of Saturday Night Live. Fey, who helped shape the US version as head writer and lead cast member, will kick off the series with the March 21 episode.
The show will run 75 minutes and air weekly, with a different host and musical act each episode. It will be broadcast live on Sky One and written in the week before broadcast, keeping the energy fresh and performers on their toes.
