Beath High School headteacher Stephen Ross sent a letter to parents expressing devastation and promising support for the school community. 'We are all devastated by this news, and our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones at this sensitive and difficult time,' he wrote. He noted that the school will be providing counseling and support across the community as details continue to emerge. The name of the student has not been released.
