The blast ripped through a stockpile of firecrackers illegally stored by the Vadakkumbaghom Karayogam for a fireworks display at the Puthiyakavu Bhagavathy Temple on that day, affecting 312 households in the neighbourhood.
The petition seeks compensation for the property damage and losses suffered by the families, with the aim of securing relief from the responsible entities through judicial channels.
