Telangana Welfare Schools Shine in JEE Main 2026 Results
Telangana's welfare institutions post strong JEE Main 2026 results, with top scorers and 462 students qualifying for JEE Advanced, aided by targeted mentoring.
Telangana’s Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) and Telangana Eklavya Model Residential Schools Society (TG-EMRS) marked a standout performance in JEE Main 2026 as announced by the National Testing Agency. A total of 462 students from the two societies have qualified for the JEE Advanced based on last year’s cut-off, underscoring the effectiveness of the state’s focused academic initiatives.
Top performers emerged from across centres, including Rajendranagar and other centres of excellence. Five students posted 90+ NTA scores, 26 were in the 80-90 bracket, and 71 fell in the 70-80 range. Notable top percentile scorers include Chowhan Praveen (93.45), Ajmeera Mahesh (91.97), Banothu Karthik (90.18), and Ramavath Laxman Naik (90.01), among others. From Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, the Gowlidoddi centre produced several 90+ NTA scores with students such as Y. Navadeep (98.39), Sathya Swaroop (97.99), Yashwanth (95.70), M. Mahesh (95.18), S. Raju (94.83), K. Sri Varsha (94.64), and V. Manjula (92.25).
In Wanaparthy district, at the Madanapuram centre, P. Suryanarayana secured a remarkable 94.03 percentile. The societies credited the improved results to a range of academic enhancements, including posting experienced principals and subject experts, strict micro academic schedules, continuous monitoring, weekly and mock examinations, and personalized counselling and mentoring. They also indicated that special action plans are being implemented to ensure even better performances in the JEE Main Session-II scheduled for April.
