Kashi-Tamil Sangamam: Modi Celebrates India's Living Unity

The discourse underscored how places like Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu and Kashi in Uttar Pradesh have long represented cultural linkages, with regions such as Dakshin Kashi (Tenkasi) earning a nickname that mirrors Kashi itself. The Prime Minister reflected on a personal note from Mann Ki Baat, admitting that not learning Tamil is a major regret, and credited the government with opportunities to popularise Tamil culture across the country.
