Several reports emerged Sunday evening of suspected Pakistani drones near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, with drone activity reported along the border in Samba, Rajouri and Poonch districts. The flying objects were seen entering Indian airspace from the Pakistan side and hovered over Indian territory for a few minutes before returning, officials said. Security forces launched ground search operations in the affected areas, and in some locations there were reports of firing during the response. All observed drones are described as originating from Pakistan, according to the officials.
