Okay, can we finally settle this? Steven Spielberg himself has weighed in on the classic E.T. debate, confirming our favorite alien was 'a little moist, but never slimy'! He clarified that E.T. was only dry when he was sick, and that a truly 'slimy' creature would be more like the xenomorph from Alien. This is huge for everyone who's ever pondered E.T.'s texture!
