Have you guys seen the absolute masterpiece Emil Andronic just dropped? This astrophotographer literally spent nearly 70 hours staring into the abyss to capture this insanely delicate blue reflection nebula glowing deep inside the red clouds of Orion's Head. Seventy hours! I can barely focus on a task for 70 minutes. It's mind-blowing how much patience and dedication goes into a single photo of the cosmos. The contrast between the eerie, glowing blue and the violent red clouds of the constellation Orion makes you realize how incredibly vast and beautiful the universe is. But honestly, it also makes me wonder if spending almost three whole days' worth of time on one single image is worth it. Don't get me wrong, the result is stunning and belongs in a museum, but at what point does a hobby turn into an obsession? Either way, we get to enjoy the gorgeous fruits of his labor without losing any sleep.
