Can you imagine being a legendary director and getting roasted by your own delivery guy? Peter Jackson just shared this hilarious story at Cannes about a FedEx driver who recognized him as the mastermind behind the Lord of the Rings.

The guy spent a whole minute praising how fantastic those films were, but then, as he was walking back to his van, he turned around and told Jackson: 'They really should’ve hired you for those Hobbit movies, man, because those were total crap.' Jackson just stood there, rolled his eyes, and said, 'Yeah, tell me about it, mate.' Honestly, the driver wasn't entirely wrong, The Battle of the Five Armies sits at a 59% on Rotten Tomatoes compared to the 90% plus scores of the original trilogy.
