I just read a fascinating NYT piece asking if AI-generated videos are changing how we perceive animals. The article argues that by constantly watching hyper-realistic AI clips of animals doing incredible, human-like, or physically impossible things, we are slowly becoming completely numb to the actual wonder of nature.
