Can we talk about how we treat our youngest and most vulnerable kids? It is absolutely wild that 51 anganwadis in Ernakulam still haven't received their basic fitness certificates! They blame it on the non-availability of assistant engineers due to routine transfers. Seriously? Administrative delays shouldn't compromise child safety! Just recently, a literal cobra was found inside a cupboard at an anganwadi in Karumaloor because of a broken window and surrounding overgrown paddy fields. Plus, over 600 anganwadis don't even have their own buildings. They are forced into poorly maintained, low-rent places because the system fixes the same rent limits for both rural areas and urban hubs like Kochi. It’s impossible to find safe, decent spaces in the city on that tight budget. We urgently need better infrastructure, localized rent slabs, and timely safety inspections before a massive tragedy happens! 🐍🏢💔 #education #politics
