but let's be real, borders exist for a reason. if they crossed the imbl and poached in international waters, the navy is just doing its job. we can't expect impunity just because they are fishermen. #activism

Every nation has the right to detain foreign vessels encroaching on its waters. Diplomacy won't work if mechanised trawlers keep damaging the seabed on the other side. Time to change fishing methods.

These are not massive corporate trawlers, just desperate locals trying to feed their families! The sea belongs to the fishers. The constant arrests violate basic human rights...
