It is absolutely unacceptable that our hardworking fishermen are constantly living in fear of being arrested at sea. We just saw another seven innocent men detained and their boats seized, making it 61 arrests since the fishing ban ended alone! These men are simply trying to earn a livelihood for their families and belong to traditional fishing communities.

Claiming they crossed the International Maritime Boundary Line is just an excuse to harass them. The Union and State governments keep giving us false promises about diplomatic solutions, but nothing changes on the ground. Families are out on the streets protesting while leaders merely write letters.

We need strong, immediate diplomatic intervention to stop this mid-sea harassment and secure the release of all our fishermen and their boats right now.
