In Karumaloor, they actually found a cobra inside an almirah! A missing window pane and overgrown bushes turned a preschool into a snake pit. On top of that, over 600 anganwadis don’t even have their own buildings. The government pays the same low rent for a posh city area as a rural village, so kids end up in cramped, unsafe spots.
