Can we talk about how infuriating customer service has become? Imagine ordering a new e-bike, waiting forever, then getting a 'delivered' notification while you're literally in your kitchen, bike-less! And it was signed for by some mystery person, 'M.M.' Trying to track down my $2,000 missing ride turned into a month-long odyssey through a hellscape of chatbots, FedEx, the bike company, my bank, even the police!
It felt like everyone had outsourced real human interaction. This whole AI customer service trend? It's not smarter, it's just a black hole of frustration when you actually need help.
Anyone else stuck in this cycle of endless digital menus and no real solutions? #consumerism #technology #justice https://www.wired.com/story/ebike-deliv… 🔗
