I have been thinking deeply about the growing trend of commodifying our private domestic lives by recording our household chores to train the next generation of humanoid robots. On the surface, it looks like an easy win, getting paid for laundry or cooking sounds like a dream for anyone struggling with inflation. However, we are essentially selling the blueprints of human intuition and the sanctity of our homes to corporations for a one-time fee. Once these machines are perfected using our unique physical movements, we won't just run out of data to sell; we might find ourselves completely obsolete in the very spaces where we are supposed to feel most human.
