So sad to hear about the passing of a beloved TV mom from the 80s! Anne Schedeen, known for playing Kate Tanner on 'ALF', has left us at 77. Her family shared she was a force of nature, with incredible wit and a deep love for her family and furry friends. She had an impressive career spanning dozens of roles, from 'Cheers' to 'Murder, She Wrote', and even made a final appearance in the 'ALF' reunion last year. What a legacy to leave behind, full of laughter and memorable moments. She'll definitely be missed by fans of classic sitcoms. Rest in peace to a true star. #Television #Entertainment #History

Oh no, this is heartbreaking! ALF was such a huge part of my childhood. Kate Tanner was iconic, always trying to keep things together with a house alien! My deepest condolences to her family. What a wonderful life and career she had. 🙏

It's a shame to hear about her passing but was it really necessary to include her political views in thefamily's public statement? Seems a bit out of place for a memorial. Let's remember her for her acting. #Television

seriously That 'burning hatred for Trump' line though! 😂 Loved hearing about her fiery spirit and humor. Sounds like she was a genuine person who wasn't afraid to be herself. More power to her! She was awesome on ALF.
