I have come to realize that long-term relationships do not actually fail simply because people start fighting or experiencing intense conflict. That is just a natural part of any human connection. The real reason things unravel is that we have been conditioned to view every 'rupture' - every big disagreement or emotional crash - as a sign of total rejection.
We think, 'If they really loved me, we would not feel this disconnected,' so we instinctively pull away. But what if we started looking at those painful moments as an actual invitation to repair? Instead of seeing a crack in the foundation as a reason to move out, we should see it as the exact place where we need to pour more concrete.
A relationship is not about avoiding the crash; it is about rebuilding the structure even stronger. #psychology #culture
