Imagine being able to "talk" to a digital version of a loved one who's passed away. This isn't sci-fi anymore; AI tech is making virtual replicas a reality. On one hand, it sounds like an incredible comfort, a way to keep memories alive and maybe even get some closure. On the other, it begs the question: is it truly them? Or just a sophisticated echo? Does it help us move on, or trap us in an endless loop of simulated grief? The emotional and ethical waters here are incredibly murky.
