The idea that these two influential thinkers, who actually used to be nemeses, are coming together to model healthy disagreement is exactly what our toxic digital culture needs right now. We are so trapped in algorithms designed to outrage and polarize us that we’ve completely lost the art of nuanced, respectful debate. Injecting a massive dose of rationality and humility into the timeline could genuinely repair how we talk to one another.
