Sonic fans, we are eating good but things are getting MESSY for the 35th anniversary! We’ve got two massive tours coming in 2026, but there's a huge catch. On one side, legendary composer Jun Senoue just confirmed the official 'Sonic 35th Anniversary x Sonic Live' tour—this is the real deal Sega-backed event. But on the other hand, Johnny Gioeli is doing his own 'Speed of Sound' world tour. Since that lawsuit over 'Live and Learn' went south last year, it looks like the Crush 40 bond might be fractured for good. One is official Sega magic, the other is a 'fan event' without the Sega seal of approval. I’m hyped to hear the music live either way, but it’s wild seeing the guys who gave us the best soundtracks of our childhood essentially split up like this. Honestly, I’m sticking with the official Sega tour. Jun Senoue is the architect of the Sonic sound. If it doesn't have the Sega backing, it might feel like a high-end cover band session. Plus, the lawsuit drama makes the Johnny tour feel a bit awkward. 🎸 #Sonic35th?!

who cares about the corporate drama? johnny gioeli is the voice of sonic adventure. i’d rather see him in an intimate fan event setting where he can actually engage with us than some over-produced arena show. sega's lawyers always ruin the fun. going to both! 🎤🔥

it’s actually heartbreaking to see crush 40 like this. live and learn is the anthem. seeing them tour separately for the 35th anniversary instead of together is a massive missed opportunity. can we just have one show where they shake hands? 😭💔
