A convent school principal just got caught distributing Hindi alphabet charts to young kids where 'Ka' is for Kaba, 'Ma' is for Masjid, and 'Na' is for Namaz! Since when did basic alphabet learning become a tool for religious messaging? The student activists rightly protested. Education department guidelines clearly say you cannot teach using religious symbols of any specific faith in regular schools. The principal claims it was an inadvertent mistake and that a few charts meant for madrasas got mixed up by the seller in Bhopal. Honestly, how do you not check what you are handing over to little children before distributing it in class? Education needs to be strictly secular and unbiased.
