India's representative, Nikita Porwal, concluded her impressive journey at the 73rd Miss World competition, securing a spot in the Top 40 finalists. While she may not be bringing home the coveted crown, her remarkable performance and dedicated spirit have certainly made the nation proud, extending India's consistent streak of placing in eight consecutive editions of the global pageant.

The Miss India Organization lauded Porwal's efforts, stating,

Her presence at the competition, which saw its 75th-anniversary celebration, was notable for a profile that defied traditional pageant expectations.

Hailing from Ujjain, Porwal is not just a model; she is an accomplished actor and theatre artiste, having honed her skills through more than 60 theatrical productions. She is also a playwright and the Creative Director of the theatre company Rangrays, showcasing her deep roots in performance and storytelling.

Beyond the stage, Nikita's journey emphasized a strong commitment to social impact through her "Beauty With a Purpose" initiative, Project MAATI - Empowering the Keepers of Our Roots. This initiative focused on supporting tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, providing crucial aid in education, healthcare, nutrition, hygiene, clean drinking water, and livelihood opportunities.

Her work included distributing water filters and nutritional supplies, alongside promoting vocational training and education for tribal youth.
