Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe Named New Strictly Hosts!
The ballroom is getting a major shakeup! Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe are officially taking over as the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing.
The ballroom is about to look a whole lot different! The BBC has officially announced that Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe will be the new faces of Strictly Come Dancing. The trio is set to take the reins for the show’s 24th series this autumn, following the shock departure of long-time favorites Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
This marks a historic first for the beloved dancing competition, as it moves to a three-person hosting team. BBC’s Chief Content Officer, Kate Phillips, shared her excitement about the new lineup, noting that the chemistry between Emma, Johannes, and Josh is "undeniable." After much speculation and hype, fans finally have their answer on who will guide them through the glitz and glamour of the ballroom.
Johannes Radebe is a familiar face to the Strictly family, having spent the last seven series as one of the show’s most popular professional dancers. He admitted to being deeply honoured to carry the show's magic forward, promising fans plenty of sequins and heart. Meanwhile, Emma Willis brings a wealth of experience from hosting hits like The Voice and Big Brother. She’s looking forward to spending her weekends with the dancers and the judges, even hoping for a "10" from the panel!
Rounding out the group is comedian Josh Widdicombe, whose previous Strictly experience involved a memorable Charleston as a penguin in the 2024 Christmas special. Josh joked that he might have to "dust off the penguin costume" for his new gig, admitting he’s a little overawed by the chance to step into such big shoes.
The news follows the unexpected exit of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who had fronted the show together since 2014. The duo, who both received MBEs for their services to broadcasting in June 2025, surprised the BBC with their announcement earlier last year. While their departure left big shoes to fill, the BBC is confident that this new trio will lead the way in style.
