Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has announced an exciting new venture, the Daisy Chain Fields festival, set to be a single-day, all-female music event. This highly anticipated festival will feature a star-studded lineup of women and female-fronted artists, with all net proceeds dedicated to charities that advance and advocate for women and girls. Olivia herself expressed immense excitement, stating that launching this festival has been a long-held dream.
The inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival will take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California. The impressive roster of performers includes Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage, Mitski, The Breeders, KATSEYE, Santigold, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Not For Radio, and Quiet Light. Adding to the star power, special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and the legendary Stevie Nicks are also slated to appear, promising a cross-generational celebration of female talent.
Beyond the captivating musical performances across two stages, Daisy Chain Fields is deeply rooted in philanthropy. The festival is committed to donating 100 percent of its net proceeds to crucial non-profit organizations. These partners include Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center For Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Johns Hopkins Center For Indigenous Health, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood, all working tirelessly to support women and girls.
