Sepideh Moafi Shuts Down Rumors of a Feud With 'The Pitt' Co-Star Noah Wyle

Fans of the hit medical drama 'The Pitt' can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Sepideh Moafi, who joined the HBO Max series in its second season, is officially setting the record straight regarding rumors of a backstage rivalry with her co-star, Noah Wyle.

Since Moafi’s character, Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, stepped in as an interim replacement for Wyle’s Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the two have shared plenty of tense, high-stakes moments on screen. In the show, their characters frequently clash over patient care and professional styles, leading some fans to speculate that the friction might be real. Some online theories even suggested that certain difficult plot points for Dr. Al-Hashimi were actually a form of punishment for Moafi due to an alleged off-screen feud.

However, Moafi was quick to dismiss these claims in a recent interview. She called the rumors completely false, emphasizing that she and Wyle have always maintained a great working relationship. In fact, she noted that the trust they have as colleagues is exactly what allows them to dive into the darker, dirtier emotional scenes. While she confirmed she will be returning for the third season of the Emmy-winning drama, she admitted she isn't quite sure what the future holds for her character just yet.
