Zodiac is a murder mystery where a serial killer who calls himself Zodiac is on a killing spree. Two detectives (Mark Ruffalo & Anthony Edwards) are assigned to investigate these murders and catch the serial killer. The movie is based to true police records and is spread over a 22+ year time span.
A newpaper cartoonist (Jake Gyllenhaal) had been following the case for quite a long time and takes special interest in solving it when the detectives start loosing trail and interest. The screenplay is simply marvelous and so is the casting. In terms of story the movie is quite long and I wouldn't call it entertaining either. It is actually a very well depiction of police case records which will keep you over the edge of your seat. I don't think you would like to have pop corn while watching this. Watch it if you get a chance.
